I've been making a concerted effort (for a father of 2 small children anyway), to watch more boxing over the past few months and here's a few of my takeaways so far:
Japanese champions are incredible. Every current champion and every past champion I've looked into so far has been both exciting and legitimately good. If you're looking to expand your horizons I strongly recommend checking them out.
Favorite Boxer Found: Veeraphol Sahaprom

Guys with shorter reach out-boxing their opponents is the 2nd most aesthetically pleasing thing to me in all of combat sports, and oh boy, does Veeraphol do that. Combine it with killer instinct and A+ nicknames and what's not to love.
Best Boxer Found: Vincente Saldivar

The reason for this thread. Only one fight so far but the greatness is immediately apparent. Multi-layered defense with something at every range. Good counters, body work, clinch work. And his balance seems exceptional. Gonna watch a lot more.
