COVID-19 UPDATE:

We are now at 794 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bexar County, up 22 from yesterday.

Of the total 794 returned positives:
- 21% are travel related
- 37% are close contact
- 32% are community transmission
- 10% are under investigation

1/16
- 135 individuals have fully recovered
- 88 are currently hospitalized, 52 in the ICU, 37 are on ventilators

It’s with immense sadness that we report the deaths of 3 more San Antonio residents — one of which was a resident at Southeast Nursing & Rehabilitation.

2/16
That brings the Southeast Nursing & Rehabilitation fatalities to 16 - roughly half of the total deaths in Bexar County.

Of note: Nearly 38% of the confirmed cases are residents under 40 years old.

VENTILATOR / BED CAPACITY:
