update to this thread after much searching i finally found billboard saying the 50 million number. i would love an itemized list but here is something yay

in addition to that i also need to update bts's sales. unfortunately the source i used is not updated to include their continued MOTS persona sales and includes none of MOTS 7 which is their best selling album to date and also doesn't include their OST singles so anyways-

UPDATED BTS ALBUM SALES:
- Map of the Soul: 7 ~ 5.4 million
- BTS World OST ~ 777k
OST SINGLES SALES (only includes chinese sales, so they're underestimated) ~ 726k
- Make It Right ft. Lauv ~ 269k (only China
- Black Swan ~ 278k (only China & US)
- ON ~ 86k (only US)

so when you add that up and figure in the fact that sales outside of china and the US aren't included in much of the singles, they're very likely at about 50 million sales right now or very close to it (these new figures put them at about 48 million)
