I would much rather Trump not battle with reporters at these briefings but they are such hacks that sometimes you just have to fight back.

A week or so ago the media was demanding Trump issue a nationwide order to shut down the nation. Evidently that a few states didn’t have official shut-in was troubling.

Today Trump says I can open the economy and media folks say hold up no you can’t. More to the point is this noxious framing by the media to blame Trump for a virus no other country in the Western world prepared for.

This AM I watched Cramer make a point that this need to look back and blame is useless. His fellow hosts brought up the fact that he did in fact say that he was worried about the virus in mid-Feb.

He demurred and said that when he expressed his concerns and even wore a mask in Feb folks said he was crazy. That is exactly the reaction most people would have had if we shut down the country with a handful of cases and no deaths.

I’m all from learning from experiences and mistakes but the media is doing this all while this pandemic is occurring. They’re antagonistic for no reason. They are even trying to stoke fights between Trump and the experts, why?
