A husky mom followed me on IG who’s dog is having real bad health issues which seem autoimmune to me and I’ve been talking to her about Skylar and today she told me because of me, she isn’t as afraid to answer the phone when the vet calls anymore

She was SO SCARED that whatever was wrong was a death sentence for her dog, and while I can’t guarantee that it isn’t, I did tell her about Skylar & how she had a LOT of the same symptoms and that we managed it and got an average lifespan with GOOD quality of life even w/o sight

And I told her as long as she keeps pushing and looking for an answer and doesn’t give up, you’re gonna find your answer and I’ll be hoping as hard as I can that it’s treatable like Skylar’s was. I don’t even think she considered an autoimmune issue before this

So hopefully she brings that up to her vet and they can get to the root of the issue and give Zoey a good life like her mom so clearly wants
