Attachment trauma is what makes you want to run away from someone who’s action is matching their words. You aren’t used to being considered or treated well so when it happens you think it’s a trick, then your fight/flight activates.
They don’t ignore me, they are consistent, they do what they say they are going to do, they keep their promises, they are ACTUALLY emotionally available. Something must be wrong with them then because no one ever treated me this good.
Or better yet you start to wonder “what’s wrong with me?” Why can’t i accept love? Maybe I don’t deserve this person because I’m afraid. It’s a double edged sword learning and figuring out how to deal with a new fear of attachment.
