Republicans wouldn't even hear witnesses against this man during impeachment. They have looked the other way as he has enriched himself off the presidency, turned America into Russia's sidekick and as he now fails us during a pandemic. People are DYING. Republicans, you own this.

My father was a staunch Reaganite. He adored George W. Bush. The first and only Democrat I ever heard him praise was Barack Obama because he was so proud that the son of an African had become an American president. He's gone but would not recognize this as the party he respected.

For most of these elected Republicans, including governors like DeSantis, but also men like @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell, @LindseyGrahamSC @marcorubio and on and on, this is what history will remember them for: Trump. Just Trump. And may God help the rest of us.
