the person on the papa john’s phone sounds so fucking racist excuse you my mom already struggles w english + he’s purposely speaking like “hello?? you want order??” w a snotty tone of voice + it’s really belittling + we ended up hanging up on him
i understand there’s a larger influx of orders w everyone staying at home + everything’s really stressful rn but that doesn’t mean you’re allowed to be rude to your customers
hahahahahahaha time to continue this thread anyway we placed an online order for carryout at the huntington beach location on goldenwest + my dad went in to pick up the order + the person at the counter was really rude to him
i’m going off of what my dad said bc i was in the car anyway they asked for the name under the order + he gave my mom’s name + they kept telling him that it wasn’t listed he even spelled it out for them + called my mom to prove that he was related
they kept yelling at him + telling him to speak up bc they couldn’t understand him + when they finally gave him the receipt my mom’s name was printed on the receipt + he pointed this out + they just said “next time have your wife come pick it up” what
my dad just told me that they also asked him what his job was “like are you a medical worker or something” + they justified it by saying “oh bc of the coronavirus we have to take precautions” what?? why does it matter what his job is please can we just get our food we paid for
