Dr. Anthony Fauci says his answer to Jake Tapper over the weekend (shown below) about mitigation was wrongly interpreted as him suggesting someone was "at fault."

Dr. Anthony Fauci: "The first and only time I went in [to Pres. Trump] and said we should do mitigation strongly, the response was yes we'll do it."

Dr. Anthony Fauci is asked if he was being forced to clarify his comments: "Everything I do is voluntary. Please, don’t even imply that."

The task force is now playing a video at the briefing laying out the timeline of actions taken, and the media coverage in response to each decision.
