A set of straight questions on Tablighi Jamaat and the drama that being stirred up around them: (1) if criticizing any organization deemed "Hindu" is not demonization of Hinduism, criticizing Tablighi Jamaat is not demonization of Islam.
(2) If criticizing whatever Tablighi Jamaat did is criticizing Islam, then whatever Tablighi Jmaat did, is fully Islam and Islamic. If whatever Tablighi Jamaat did was wrong, it remains wrong whether Islam approved of it or not.
(3) If its said that Tablighi Jamaat did wrong from ignorance, it shd be noted that the law doesnt in general accept the excuse of ignorance of the law on breaking a law. If Tablighi Jamaat is ignorant, it must be neglecting education, which means its members must be re-educated.
(4) if its said that Tablighi Jamaat did wrong frm poverty, then Tablighi finances must be scrutinized. If it can build such extensive facilities in the capital, its key figure can live a luxurious lifestyle with a sprawling real estate, then it must be hv a source of huge income
(4-contd) If the finances are legal, yet Tablighi members do wrong out of "poverty", then gov needs to reform key laws that restrict gov management of finances to only Hindu temples - to manage Tablighi Jamaats extensive financial flows for benefit of nation& its members as well.
(5) its fortunate that all the friends of Tablighi Jamaat among the most advanced sections of Indian society, such as academia/media/political-parties are bravely coming forward to defend TJ's "wrongs", surely they must agree to remedy the ignorance and poverty of Tablighis?
