I think it is also very clear that a lot of y'all on both sides of this debate (childless/childfree vs having kids) hate children in a general sense, even though you were once children. I also think the childfree community is racist and often classist and childist/ageist.

American society in general harbors a distinct hatred toward children that borders on deranged simply because children, via capitalism/child support systems/lack of civic support (chidcare), represent a burden or debt. They are a punishment or a moralistic dog whistle to y'all.

I think a lot of Americans forget that children are *people,* and this includes most parents. Folks are attempting to arbitrarily count 16-20 year olds as children under the guise of protection even though... nobody is being protected either way. It's about power.

Having children isn't a personality trait.

Both of these groups have hella disturbing features and y'all need to examine that and learn how to actually center children. They're members of society, whether or not you like them.
