I would like Congress to go back into session and try everything they can think of to ward off the coming economic disaster, while supporting a robust medical response. I'd like them to have started two weeks ago, but tomorrow would also be good.
As commercial food producers can't get food to market and so are dumping it, while 10,000 people line up for food at a Texas food bank afraid of starving, and something like 60% of Americans have lost or reduced work (including me in the reduced) ... I'd like Congress to try.
If they can't figure out how to meet in person safely, which is reasonable, develop secure remote meeting/voting plans. We're going to need them as this virus waxes and wanes over the coming years.
