It& #39;s not all gloom. Publishers are still acquiring projects for 2021 & beyond. People are reading books & rediscovering the pleasure, a habit that I hope they will continue. The industry will bounce back but it will be rocky for a while.
In the meantime, aspiring authors, aside from polishing your manuscript/sample chapters, use the time to get known to people who might want to read your book. Authors who come with a ready readership/tribe will be gold.
