[medical] We've said this before, but maybe not publicly.

We think it's really important for people with chronic health issues to talk about side-effects to meds, and what a serious impact those effects can have on your life.

Doctors... don't. So as a community, we need to.
Very often, medications are *worth* the side-effects, even when those effects are very serious. But how can you have a framework for making those choices, if nobody ever talks about it? If you don't even appreciate what the effects will be, until you've tried it?
Lots of life-altering stuff gets listed as "minor" in the official information about meds. It can be really hard to parse out, for example, is the hypotension caused by this particular med the kind that needs minor care, or will it seriously limit your physical activity?
So. We'd like to propose the hashtag #TalkAboutSideEffects for any minor observations that people have about this stuff. Use it if you want it! :)

Are there #chronicillness hashtags we should be mentioning this to? Reply with them if so.
