As you all voted in my poll you wanted me to do a vocal ranking on BTS. Well your wish is my command, here is a vocal ranking from little old me! Don’t hate me ily!
quick disclaimer: I am being as objective as possible my biases aside, I will be looking at their vocal ability from a technical pov. Please note that I am in no way, shape or form a professional vocal instructor, i’ve had background in choir and i sing and songwrite & produce.
Number 7: Namjoon.
I love his tone & I personally love hearing him sing on mono & in the fools cover. However,he has little to no training on hitting notes higher than his chest voice & you can find him straining pretty often. So he’s # 7 due to lack of versatility & technique

Number 6: Yoongi. Now he isn’t a great singer or anything but he does seem to have a noticeably better technique than Namjoonie. He’s also a baritone like Namjoon & Tae, he ranks higher simply because he has a stronger belt, slightly better with key changes & is more connected.
Number 5: Hoseok. He’s significantly better than rapline, he has a really good sense of pitch and tuning. He has a bigger range than the two prior. He stays on pitch really well. However he tends to stay stagnant & he’s nowhere near the abilities of the vocal line obviously.
Number 4: Jin
He has a strong tenor voice & has a beautiful classical undertone. He’s an underrated vocalist who’s had immense growth. The reason I ranked him this way is due to lack of versatility. No one can sing a ballad like him.

Number 3: Taehyung
He has a unique instrument & that works in his advantage. He has probably the best range in the group. However, his technique falters sometimes & bc he sings breathy to blend with jk & pjm, this technique makes him prone to strain & susceptible to chord damage

Number 2: Jimin
He has one of the best tenor voices I’ve ever heard. He has incredible ability in his falsetto & is agile. However his biggest issue is instability & sharp. His ability when he’s good is amazing, however when instability knocks on his door it’s rough. Lovely boy.

Number 1: Jungkook
He is exceptional. Amazing tenor voice that’s the definition of stable. He’s earned his main vocalist position. He has amazing pitch, and a great sense of melody. He has amazing transitions. However, he seems to break a bit in his lower range due to lack of use
