I'm in a super blue state, so my Biden vote in the general is symbolic more than it ultimately matters. However, beating *45 is anything but symbolic. He's gotta go, and I'm going to do everything I can to get him out of there. My generation (the 32-35 group) that got Barack the
White House when we were 18-21, we didn't get everything we wanted, but we got a) same sex marriage legalized for our friends & family, b) DACA & DAPA, c) more people healthcare coverage, d) an ambitious climate agreement, e) the death of Bin Laden, f) more young people involved
In politics, g) more black political power, and h) saved the Country from a recession.

All with a dude that looked like us in the White House.

Votes have to be earned. Biden, like Sanders if he had won, earned it by not being Trump.

I get others gotta work through their own
Issues with it. I respect that. I'm not thanking him for endorsing Biden, I have a very real issue with him dragging his race with Clinton out longer than he should've & think I know why this time was different.

Either way, #DudeGottaGo.

So, let's tighten up & go to work.
A friend said to me "you always talk about the work. You end every thread with that sentiment" and the reason I end every political thread with that is because what's the alternative? Complaining to y'all on here? Going into a shell & whining cause my preferred candidate is out?
No, no, no.

I've got my own election to win (and I intend to win that), but if I lose I'll dust myself off and get back to work.

This is no different. The work doesn't stop. It never will, even if we got everything we always wanted.

So, idk, do the work. Or don't. Whatever.
