Masturbation has kept many Christians in bondage for years. Some are depressed because they can't live in holiness for Jesus because this habit is weighing them down. Some have backslidden because of it too. I want to share a word of hope to whomever might struggling.

It's vital to acknowledge that it's sinful to watch porn and masturbation is sin as well. But note this: When Jesus died on the cross all sin was layed on that cross. Including your addictions.

It's important to note that God's not mad at you. He loves you immensely. Acknowledge the truth that God doesn't love you less because of struggling with this habit.

As a born-again believer you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You're a new creation, a new creature. Righteousness is part of the nature of your recreated human spirit. You don't own it by toiling for it but by FAITH. Believing that Christ is ur righteousness.

Whenever the urge and desire comes to watch porn or masturbate say this over to yourself out loud.

"I'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, Sin has no hold over me. I'm a Victor over addiction! In Jesus' name!!"

Don't allow guilt and shame to stop you from praying and studying the word of God. The devil is basically trying to keep you from the medicine your soul needs. He uses guilt to distract you from praying and studying God's word.

Develop a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit. Whenever the urges come lean on the Holy Spirit and ask him for strength to overcome the temptation.
