I want to start a conversation about the delicate art of death notifications, specifically in the time of COVID.

It is something I take pride in doing well, with empathy and care. It is an should be a sacred moment.

I am struggling with doing it an N95 and PPE

Without facial expressions, or therapeutic touch, it feels robotic and mechanized and horrible.

I’ve also been doing a lot of them recently.

Has anyone found ways of making doing this in PPE feel less horrible, maintaining the Sacred and the Human of it?
