Polis says they are developing a plan to reopen the JBS plant as soon as possible, with National Guard logistical support for worker testing.
Polis says the state is creating a contest for kids to design face masks with their families to take the fear out of the process. (Or, as parents trying to work from home while teaching their kids will refer to it, another unfunded mandate.)

Polis, pressed on whether JBS meat plant will close for days or weeks, says the plant will be closed as long as it needs to in order to ensure worker safety. Says he doesn't have personal knowledge of wrongdoing by JBS management in how the plant was being operated.

Polis is now getting a series of questions about continued outbreaks in nursing homes and offering few specifics about what's being done, other than offering generalities and pointing to actions he took weeks ago.
