The best way to compare players is taking their prime years and measuring them. I defined prime years as usually a players 3rd year in the league and normally lasting for 10-12 years.
. Some players get lucky enough and can stretch their prime to 12-15 yrs. PER is the most accurate advanced stat to measure how consistent a player produces his averages
Rings are important but different factors come into play outside of one players control (organization, role players, coach, 2nd Star, health, luck).

His last year of his prime he led the league in scoring (28.7PPG) while being the regular season MVP and Finals MVP.
