So there was this really neat idea I’d been working on, but ultimately decided the potential reward prob wasn’t gonna be worth the effort.

It was a mobile game based on @KingJames time in Miami. Mario Bros style. But since I killed it, I’ll share some of the design with y’all...

I hadn’t really figured out what his attack was gonna be (throwing basketballs seemed too obvious). But one thing I *knew* I wanted was that when you grabbed a power-up (like Mario’s mushroom or star), LeBron would turn into Masked Bron. That was a no-brainer.

Each level was gonna be based off, and look like, a Heat rival’s City. The final boss of the Boston level was gonna be Paul Pierce in a wheelchair throwing bricks at you. The final boss of the Indiana level was gonna be Roy Hibbert. Here’s a rough draft of that one

At the end of the last level, you find out the final FINAL boss who’s been pulling the strings the whole time has been Cyborg Skip Bayless. When you reach him, he’s laughing maniacally at you from a TV on the wall and you have to fight the ghost of Michael Jordan to beat him...

And obviously when you beat the game, @KingJames stands alone on the screen, victorious, looking like the best damn version of himself ever

Anyway, the time and obvious legal hurdles with player likenesses and whatnot make building all this out fun but pretty impossible.
