I saw someone else do this where they made a thread of all their craziest psych ward/treatment stories and i had the best time reading through and relating to them so i thought iâd make one too! (some are longer than max amt of characters so might have to write in notes app)
there was a 67 year old man with schizophrenia that killed his mom because she âwas a witchâ and i apparently looked like his mom so every time he saw me he said âi thought i killed you, you fat witchâ and would try to stab me with the plastic fork he stole from the caf
there was also this older woman that had some serious mommy issues and was into ddlg so when she came in on the first night she looked at me and said âi miss my mommy, could you breast feed me to help me fall asleep?â
two men both had a crush on me at the same time so they decided the best way to see who would âmarry meâ was to play uno. the guy with more wins made me a ring out of a sheet from the bible they had in all of our rooms and tied it so tight around my finger they had to cut it off
another ED residential story: during one meal, i was really proud of myself bc i thought i completed it all but when the nurse came around to check, there was a packet of butter i didnât see and i didnât want to have to drink a supplement/get an incomplete so she made me drink it
these arenât even like 10% of the stories i have so iâm gonna continue adding to this thread as i remember the details for more
