A friend has dug these up from her garden and none of us know what they are.
Any ideas folks?

They are made of stone.
Here are the backs of the smaller ones. The backs are rather lovely alone.
Latest update from the finder, @spatchydanders: “definitely not stone, they are ceramic or pottery”.

For a largish object that might have had a practical use it looks smooth and difficult to grip.
From every angle it is (they are) inherently beautiful.
All found in the garden of a C17 cottage near Ledbury, Herefordshire.
