CMO said 13.5% of UK care homes have reported Covid-19. There are approximately 5500 care homes in the UK. so that's around 740 currently with or suspected of having the virus.

13.5% would be vastly lower than comparable European countries. Today Scotland said 37% of care homes there had or suspected Covid-19, which is a much more likely percentage. At 37% of the whole UK we are talking about thousands of care homes trying to deal with this disaster
