As a club, this is Arsenal at its lowest point. The worst team we have had for 35 years, the fans at their most disinterested, the owner leaching the club of its finances, players failing to support the community. What is class about Arsenal anymore?
There has always been something innovative, classy and forward-thinking about Arsenal, from Chapman through Mee to Wenger. There was always a sense that we were doing things right and/or different. Now, we seem like just another club, representing the worst parts of modern ball
People seem to forget how consistently good Arsenal as a club have been for so long, shown by the fact that we won a league title in every decade bar the 60s from the 30s-00s. Something has dramatically changed for the worst recently
The longest run without a league title since our first win was 18 years. We have now gone 16 years with a league title, and are currently further away from winning one than we have been in this whole 16 year period
Whether older fans like it or not, Arsenal have such a big support both in London and globally because of Wenger’s ideals and his legacy. Do not be surprised in the next five to ten years when Arsenal’s stature as one of the world’s big clubs disappears
