The Mamelodi Sundowns Academy has to go down in history as one of the most organised messes to exist. A system that could have a gem in its fold without even noticing, until they had to recently take stock.

Here's a look at some o the players to come out of the system:
[Thread]
What better place to begin highlighting how much of a factory fault the conveyor belt was than this product right here?? One of the best midfielders to come out of the country had was one once at Chloorkop and no one bothered to take action quick enough - Benedict Vilakazi
Ask any Sundowns supporter who has served the longest at the academy and you guaranteed to get this guy's name. So much was promised and yet so little was fulfilled. A decent goalie that went on to represent the nation at the AFCON - Jackson Mabokgwane
Quality player. A very few that went on to graduate during that generation. Played in the same team as Tso. Pity the biggest highlight of his career will always be him standing near Charles Motlohi when Mambush gave him that infamous klaap - Dan Semake
Midfield Maestro. A force in the centre of the park. Together with Tso and Dan, they were moulded at the academy by the only coach that will get a mention in this thread. Keep reading...

-Mlungisi Gumbi
Krugersdorp's finest. A REAL number 9. Sundowns packed too much heat upfront and weren't about to gamble with a youngster. He wasn't really cut out for the PSL, but respected in the other countries he went on to play at - Dino Ndlovu
From the KC academy he spent a season at the factory before being promoted to the 1st team. Stoichkov's most trusted guy together with his CB parter in crime. He eventually graduated to one of the European leagues - Siyanda "2010" Xulu
I bet you didn't see this one coming right?! The most gifted and versatile CB ever born in this country could at some point be pinned at Cnr Dunlop and Allandale Rd. I feel like we need to have an enquiry as to who and how they let go of this diamond - Mbulelo OJ Mabizela 😱
The one who possesses a left foot so smart it has to have graduated CUM laude. I'll always be grateful to the football gods that we brought the prodigal son back home once and as it stands he's a legend of the team - Keagan Dolly
Bafana Bafana's CB. A tactically gifted defender. Pity him and Ngubeni had to be the sacrificial lambs for Zungu's signature - Buhle Mkhwanazi
A special mention has to go to these 4. They were part of the revolution! As soon as the machine was well oiled they formed part of the first batch out of the oven - (Wandile came out 1st). We could now produce in bulk.đŸ”„
Abel Mabaso
Samuel Julies
Wandile Letlabika
Doctor Mampuru
Fast forward 2014 the academy produced the LeBron of SA football...a lion! This kid went on to dominate everything that posed a threat to him. And as they say the rest is history... 🩁 - Ladies and gentlemen I present to you Percy Muzi Tau.
With the release of 'the lion' the academy realised it could potentially go on to be one of the best in the land and then it kept on producing hits after hits...

Motjeka Madisha
Sphelele Mkhulise
Keletso Makhalwa
Now that they have finally found the formula to running this system, the sky could only be the limit... see what I did?? â˜ș

Disclaimer :player's name not to be mentioned to give him an opportunity to introduce himself to the world
P. S I did say I'll mention a coach right?! The man who needs no introduction. Yes, he made his coaching debut at the Mamelodi Sundowns FC Academy 😁
