There are a lot of tape grinders who like to drag stats like Dominator and Breakout Age but ...

52 WRs have posted 1,000 yards in the last 5 years. Of the 50 who actually played WR in college, only 5 had a below-average Dominator.

Only 4 had a below-average Breakout Age.
And only 1 player who put up 1,000 yards receiving in the last 5 years had both a below average Dominator AND Breakout Age: Tyreek Hill.

This is another way you can compare Henry Ruggs to Hill because that's Ruggs as well. But Hill was a 5th round pick.
TLDR, if you're taking Ruggs in the first round—forget top-15—you're betting on him being one hell of a statistical outlier.

And let's not pretend like he's the first player ever to be in an offense with other good skill players.
