Number one on the list is the Sparrow. Despite this it has still significantly declined from the first time the the birdwatch ran in 1979. @louismasai created mural of two sparrows in Wimbledon earlier this year
Number 2 is the Starling. Another bird sadly in decline. The mural chosen for this piece is from Dutch artists Collin van der Sluijs & Super A. The piece is astonishing and can be found in Berlin. It was curated by #urbannation
Number 3 is the Blue Tit. This beautiful little bird can be found painted in Manchester's Northern Quarter from Sheffield's @faunagraphic
Number 4 is the woodpigeon. Now this is a bird whose numbers have increased a lot. Favoured by street artists we chose a piece from Boe and @whoam_irony created as part of @Upfest in 2017.
Number 5 is the Blackbird and a classic image from Belgium's #ROA. This mural was created in Shoreditch in 2010 and is now long since disappeared. ROA's work is about the interaction of nature in urban spaces
Number 6 comes from our good friend @AtmStreetart. His Goldfinch can be found in the grounds of berrymede school in Acton. The #goldfinch is also by far the most populous visitor to our own feeder here in East London
Number 7 is the Great Tit. We had to go to italy to find a picture to do this lovely bird justice. Created by #paolopsiko this is an incredible mural located in the town of Parenti.
Number 8 is the lovely Robin. Our mural for this is a classic from Australian artist Smug in Glasgow. This picture comes via @urbankulturblog and is a real beauty
Number 9 was really tricky to find a street art example for. Luckily though the Long Tailed Tit has been represented many times by fine artists. This includes the excellent @FranGiffard whose piece we are using to illustrate this new entry to the top 10
Finally at number 10 we have the Magpie. An excellent mural from #reulo can be found in Leicester. Painted as part of the #bringthepaint festival in 2017 it's a beauty.
