CHERNOBYL FIRE UPDATE: Really bad news today. Multiple villages were wiped out, the fire is at the edge of Pripyat, and now the wind is blowing it towards the power plant, which it is currently very close to. What's crazy is that this is barely a thing in the news but is a major, major disaster. The Facebook group I linked to has good up to date info and photos from people in the area

You can see in the map here the fire is at Pripyat, although I am hearing there is a "ray of hope" for it as the fire is blowing east. Again, though, this puts it directly headed for the power plant
