The curve is not flattening in NY. They have distorted the hospitalization numbers ("don't go in until you are losing consciousness") and the death count (died at home? doesn't count and we won't test you) but the bodies keep piling up.
Unfortunate to see this from an NYT person, but it explains a lot. You don't have to take it from me, @AlexBerenson, take it from the chair of nyc health committee.
Great thread on the curve from @MarkLevineNYC. You want to watch several data points for a sustained period. Then proclaim the curve flattened, if it does. Sadly ICU data is basically flat.
