You simply cannot lock down 200 million people, majority of who depend on daily earnings for survival.

A fatal revolution is brewing across the land. A pregnant woman was said to have been raped. A musician was beaten in his house in Uyo, last night, for food.

Lagos is a largely 'agbero' state. The multitude of those agberos are now locked down with no palliatives.

It's happening in Ogun state. It's started in Lagos. It will spread and innocent people will die. It will not be the virus that kills us.

Call it uninformed but there is something about Nigeria's Corona virus. It's not killing as easily as it kills in Europe and America.

Allow life to go on. Please. Allow people to get tested and go about with strict safety protocols, rather this sham of a copy strategy.

I don't want to write many tweets on this thread. If you are realistic you would admit that this shutdown will kill us more than the virus can. Please get test kits and test people at work and business places.

Isolate those who are positive. Treat fast and decisively.

I am much more scared of what's coming than what's already here. With Corona virus there's a chance to live. Against these gangs of robbers and rapists, there's no cure. Our security apparatus CANNOT handle this.

We simply cannot.
