Masrat Alam, 49, led the 2010 people’s uprising against Indian occupation. He has been slapped with 36 Public Safety Acts. #releasekashmiriprisoners
Shabir Ahmad Shah is also known as the “Nelson Mandela of Kashmir” and the head of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party. Due to his long imprisonments, Shah has grown weak and is suffering from heart ailments. #ReleaseKashmiriPrisoners
Zahid was arrested when the J&K police raided his home on the intervening night of 5th and 6th August. When his family went to meet him on for Eid-Ul-Adha, they informed them he was moved to a jail outside of the state with NO details on his whereabouts #ReleaseKashmiriPrisoners
Ghulam Qadir Bhat is one of the longest serving political prisoners of #Kashmir. His wife, Hajira Begum, died in 2009 after a painful 14-year wait for her husband. #ReleaseKashmiriPrisoners

Peer Saifullah, was arrested under the accusation of "waging war against India." He was operated on for a brain tumor months ago before he got interrogated. He survives on life saving drugs and has NEVER been checked at a hospital. #ReleaseKashmiriPrisoners
Fayaz, 25, who was shifted to a jail in India after August 5, 2019, has been under treatment for mental health issues because of the torture he was subjected to during a prior detention. #ReleaseKashmiriPrisoners
Last October, Muhammad Yaseen Khan's mother breathed her last. She was looking for him, but died without seeing her son one last time. India did not allow him to attend her funeral prayers. #ReleaseKashmiriPrisoners
