Can someone do this but for anime, and adult SFF instead

I'm not tooting my own horn here--western writers don't watch newer shows like Psycho-Pass and maybe watched the 1995 GITS once, it's a matter of different cultural pipelines--but my books are probably the only things in English that are influenced by/in convo with these lol.

Legitimately though western nerds--which the majority of SFF writers are--seem to only produce things based on ancient nostalgia? Lots of it for 80-90s stuff, like they completely shut down on consuming anything made after 2000 that's not cranked out by Disney or Cartoon Network.
