UB just declined the authorization of the SSC Student Survey for the continuation of classes. Where is the student centeredness that the university upholds? Wala na ngang natutotunan inside the classroom, ganito pa now? Isang malaking bullshit UB.

UB claims to provide quality education in pursuit of perfection. However, they are not able to provide the necessary needs that its students ask for: FAIR TREATMENT. Most students dont have access to the internet and is unable to connect to the reqs given online.

the University has released a memorandum BEFORE the proclamation of an extension but rather than modifying the memo, they push through with online classes starting on April 16, 2020. There is a LACK of consideration in all aspects and students are left unheard. (3/n)

Making the students of the University of Baguio continue to pay for the Second Semester is absurd. There is no quality education being given to us not just by our professors but also my the University itself. (4/n)

We did not pay for an "At Home" service from this institution wherein we spend thousands to teach ourselves from our houses. Our parents pay for us to USE facilities such as our Laboratories, Classrooms, Libraries, and more. (5/n)

However, it seems that making the students pay for the amount that IS supposed to be used for interactions with professors and these facilities is just not right. We, the students are NOT able to use these services covered by our tuition fee. Why? (6/n)

Online classes is NOT EFFECTIVE and NOT ACCESSIBLE by each student studying in the University. (7/n)

That's why I, Gabriel Hernandez from STELA; OPPOSE to the continuation of the online classes mandated by the University of Baguio. I take a stand for my fellow students who are unable to pursue QUALITY EDUCATION due to the limited access of learning tools.
