Men understand the power of rape - thats why they threaten women with it. Men also understand both the prevalence and stigma associated with sexual violence - its why they try to flippantly dismiss/ disempower/ intimidate you with it.
Abuse victims are branded as “soiled” goods, and somehow less rational and credible; a woman in hysterics. Her voice has less power than one who is ‘smart enough’ to have not been abused. Men lean towards that rhetoric to silence the voices of those who dare speak up.
The only credible reason to some of you dimwits for a woman to be passionate protecting children & women’s rights, pushing for gender equality and speaking up against GBV is that... she must have been raped before?
And if someone has been sexually abused, what exactly would be wrong with her becoming passionate about preventing sexual abuse? How would that be a “clapback”?

I mean, you people do not think.
