The roadmap for reopening the US economy was *there*. It wasn’t lockdown while *nothing fucking happened*. It was lockdown to halt community spread while we pushed for resources to fight so that we could reopen.
The fact that NOTHING HAS HAPPENED during weeks of lockdown is gravely irresponsible as to human life, but it is also going to be gravely irresponsible for economic devastation.
I wish those bankers who had the plan for reopening the economy were yelling at the people who are making it impossible.
