Can you name a novel (or film) that spans and weaves time periods over hundreds of years (or more) that is not Cloud Atlas (or some other uber genius work)? Thinking of some additional/alternative comp titles that are not making me have a GTFO reaction.

Obviously the problem is that no matter what you're going to have to name a genius of some sort b/c those books/films have staying power for a reason.

This thread might eventually evolve into a course I want to teach one day haha.
