Every decent person or organization always endorsing whatever monster the Democratic Party puts forward is a recipe for an ever-rightward drift. And this isn't just a hypothetical. It's the recipe of the past half century of the United States.

There's a fundamental difference between encouraging people in swing states to vote for the lesser of two monsters and officially endorsing one of the two monsters. The only people who don't get this are monsters who enjoy a society run by monsters.

I know this is a meme, but it also happens to be accurate. And it's why organizations like DSA or the Sunrise Movement can't endorse Joe Biden.

As this monster website makes abundantly clear, monsters don't concede power unless they have to. Otherwise they not only take you for granted, but mock and abuse you for daring to exist.

Refusing to endorse monsters who refuse to make genuine and significant concessions not only makes eminent strategic sense, but is also a moral imperative in a monster society where monsters are forever getting away with murder.
