Going through some old stuff for my scrapbook, and came across a pile of old diary entries. This is from summer 2014, when I was on a project trip in Oregon, USA. I was so thrilled to have met ‘ASL Deaf people’! 1/4

It’s very strange to consider that the person who wrote this is the same person writing this tweet now. I’m much more confident in BSL, and I’m able to communicate in ASL and IS. I’m prepping for a major move, which I would have never considered doing then. 2/4

Here lies the point of this thread - everything changes with time. There may be people/events that causes huge knocks to your confidence and progress, but keep going. Show them that this is your journey, not theirs! 3/4
