I *cannot* believe people are actually calling to #endthelockdown. Are you fucking serious. Y'all. "Our numbers are low, why are we locked down?"

Look to the US.

My home country is being steadily decimated because of lack of lockdowns and the government not stepping up.

Some folks are mentioning herd immunity (and misspelling it a lot).

Herd immunity happens when folks get vaccinated. Not when people catch the disease that is proving to kill a large portion of those who get it.

Everyone getting polio doesn't count as herd immunity.
