“Her name is Yvonne, she is the 17th victim

...and the only survivor”,

She stayed still as the prosecutor’s voice echoed through the corners of the hospital room where she’s at.

It’s cold, and dark, and even though the she’s surrounded by many, everything feels... empty.

“Miss Yvonne? The investigators are here to extract some information regarding the incident. Do you mind answering a few questions?”

She stared blankly at the person who was talking. It’s not that she refuses to talk, but she can’t seem to find the right words to say.

“I don’t think you’ll be able to extract some information from her, she is still unresponsive. Come again some other time, we’ll make a call when she’s fine.”

As the investigators made their way out...

“W-wait”, she softly called out to them, too soft it’s barely audible.

The investigators slowly went near, waiting for her to say something.

“Are you sure you can’t talk about it already?” the doctor asked with full of concern, she slowly nodded in response as she stared into nothingness.

“Miss, can you tell us what you can remember so far?”

“I have a vacant time today, let’s meet at the café near the university.”

“Okay, I’ll be there in a few.” She replied as she ended the call, rushing to get to the café immediately.

...or else”, Yvette said as she slammed an envelope in front of Mingyu.

Mingyu’s blood ran cold, he was trembling at the sight of the photograph before him.
