So for a few months a mum, dad and toddler have come to our gates everyday to see our rabbit, which was a little awkward but fine pre-virus. However they still come multiple times a day, try to pet him, touch our gates and I’ve had to ask them to stop feeding him (c)
They’ve started bringing the toddler either completely naked or just in a nappy in the evening and the road is looked on by a lot of houses and our gate is like this, so when there’s someone else’s naked child just staring at you in your own garden it’s a bit? Awkward?
Anyway, aside from the fact that a whole bunch of houses were looking down at their naked kid, they also told the toddler to play hide and seek between the cars(?) and let her touch all the bins. Today I asked if they could make sure she doesn’t touch our rabbit (c)
Through the gate as we pet him and vets are now saying the virus can live for a short time on animal fur. I explained I was ill a few weeks ago and we think it might have been the virus and wouldn’t want to make them sick (c)
To which the mum said she’d had coronavirus just before lockdown and had this confirmed by a nurse practitioner though no test done. They still came to our gate coughing almost every day during this time and were sick just before I was. I’m actually fuming?
She told me how hard it was for them being stuck inside and how they’re making sure they get out of the house with their toddler at least twice a day?? Obviously it’s hard having a kid in lockdown but Christ
