Just been for a socially-distanced run. Saw 2 nurses getting into a car. As I stopped, we recognised each other. They cared for my Nanna Audrey before she died 9 years ago. I wanted to thank them for all they are doing now. They had an important message. Please help me share >>
Nurses don't just work in hospitals. They work in care homes, and in the community, looking after people in their homes. If we only secure PPE and testing for hospital nurses we will miss a huge group of people absolutely crucial to fighting #COVID19
There are lots of people who need medical care at home. They can be isolated and really need that visit, and having it may keep them out of hospital. This is what community nurses do. They are so valuable and I applaud them. ❤🇬🇧🌈
