Read on Twitter
You know what causes pointless arguments on Twitter? People are unwilling to learn they must always right, people don’t read to understand, they see every topic as an opportunity to drop what they believe as truth, not as some truth but The truth.
Yesterday made me réalise that people would do anything to prove they are right without understanding first, reading and reading, and it’s all about proving the other wrong and saying that they are false and spreading wrong gospel, and quick to jump to insults and accusations
When I wanted to start speaking about Christ on twitter, I followed a lot of people because of what they were sharing because I can never know all, I will always find new things, there were questions I was scared to ask because of people saying “why is that all that matters”
Or “why is that what Christians focus on” I believe basically that if a Christian Keeps askin a question over and over it is because they haven’t gotten enough clearance on the topic, if you think your fellow believer is focusing too much on one thing, guide them gently
I started thinking, how many souls have I won by pointless and endless arguments on twitter, trying to prove a point, if I don’t believe something i saw was biblical, I should pray about it and ask other people for confirmation, rather than fighting like I know all things
All I see is us pushing people away from wanting to talk about Christ because all they see is discord and not unity and it starts to look like Christians are confused and their word is causing divide, it’s sad that we’ve started to classify Christians.
And + they’re people that know way more than we do, and have prophesies and stuff but they’re not on social media doesn’t mean because you do, you know more and better, it just means you’re more interested in talking about it, some people are making influence through other ways
Anyways we can do better, we read our bibles to the point where Paul talks about guiding our believers with love and then we skip it, we skip where Paul talks about not being judgmental, we skip it, we skip where the Bible talks about pointless arguments, we skip it lol
We can do better, let God work on your hearts and teach you wish love really is, I can do better and I want God to really work on my heart, so instead of laughing or mocking or getting angry or seeing a post as an opportunity to cause a rife or prove myself
I’ll calm down and guide gently or not talk at all if I can’t, not use the opportunity to spite anyone, this thread is long
