What happened after Panawon resurrected all the gods? What happened during the two years that Wendy has no memory of?

Remember when Bakunawa asked Bulan to meet him at their (Lakan and hers) special place? And Lakan was in Ilalim with his team?

Well, Bakunawa was true to his word. Since Panawon restored everything before Delubyo arrived, there was no need to kidnap Bulan.

Only Bathala, Lakan, and Bakunawa have the power to change into mortals. The rest of the gods can't at will. But they can grant those powers, provided that they will restore the gods to their original forms.

Initially, that's where the subplot will come in.

When Panawon asked Tadhana to write stories for him to read, he rejected everything god-related. His tweet was, "Less is more. Less god, more human." And that's when Tadhana made the story of the gods as mortals. It's a Romeo and Juliet-esque type of story.

Initially, they will all turn as humans and something will happen that will turn them back into gods. But, I scratched the idea.

Then, somewhere in the story (back to Mataas na Isla), when Bakunawa turned Bulan into human, she forgot who Lakan was and that broke his heart.

But I scratched that too.

Back to the island, Lakan met with the human Bulan. Lakan changed into his human form. Then, that's when Tala was conceived.

In the reality where Delubyo was not present, Bulan wasn't pregnant yet. Matchmaker Bakunawa came through haha

Humans have 9 months. Gods have less. I think she gave birth on the next full moon (Bakunawa noted the moon looked fuller that night lol).

Of course, by that time, we all knew that Bathala already knows about the two. Bulan vouched for Bakunawa and Bakunawa was finally...

welcomed in Itaas. Since Bulan gave birth, Bakunawa frequented the heaven to play with Tala. That's why they became close.

Meanwhile, Lakan started a little project on earth. He began building a house for Bulan. In his human form. So it took a long time. Bathala helped tho.

Everyone helped. The goddesses kept Bulan distracted, which was easy because she had Tala. The gods helped build the house.

Bulan was only invited back to the island when the house was finished. The night when Lakan proposed.

The next story is about Ulan and Peligro. It's short.

The four horsemen can't all be at the same place at the same time. So they naturally avoid one another.

One day, Peligro came to the desert and brought sickness in the place. People died of it and the drought.

Ulan happened to pass by & took pity on the dying ppl. She lingered there for a while, made it rain until an oasis appeared in the desert.

"Trabaho lang, walang personalan" so they didn't despise each other's presence there.

Peligro acknowledged her work with a 2-finger salute.

Since then, they found themselves often meeting each other by chance.

He would bring in disease and she would help ease the pain with her rain.

Ulan found herself lingering again.

As for Bathala and Lakam... as Bakunawa said, it might take a few millennia before those two get together.

Here's what I can tell: Bathala likes that Lakam has spunk but he's also intimidated by her. Lakam wants to see more of the soft Bathala but he's always so guarded.

As far as everyone can tell, the two like each other but they don't want to admit that because admitting their feelings feel like losing.

The other gods enjoy watching them banter. It's entertaining. They're just waiting to see who's gonna crack first.

Additional info pala na hindi ko nalagay sa story. Bathala was jealous of Lakan because he thought that the humans love Lakan but then came to know that Lakan instilled in the minds of humans that it was Bathala who created them.

It's why humans pray for Bathala and not Lakan.

That's why Bathala finally accepted Lakan.

As for Bakunawa, Bathala finds himself confiding in him about the matters of the heart because talking to Lakan would feel like he's talking about his sister.

Oddly enough, he and Baku are so alike and could relate well to each other.

Bakunawa likes giving Bathala unsolicited advice, lalo na about Lakam. Bathala always seems to ignore him a lot pero yung mga payo nya, ginagawa ni Bathala in secret.

Bakunawa knows about this. So tuloy lang sya pagpapayo pero kunwari di nya alam na sinusunod nung isa

Now as for Amihan and Bakunawa, actually number 1 shipper nila si Tala.

So Tala always visits Ilalim and Amihan is the designated nanny, so most of the time, si Amihan yung sumusundo kay Tala mula sa Ilalim. Nagpapasundo talaga si Tala para i-set up yung dalawa.

BakunaHan rise!

It was Kidlat who set Apolaki with Nyebe. Actually, joke lang naman yung social distancing nilang dalawa lol. Apolaki's sunlight melts Nyebe's ice, sure, but the god and goddess themselves, they can go near each other.

Steamy romance nila, literally. Kasi ice+fire = steam lol

Habagat and Makiling's first date was a disaster. The storm god really can't control his powers. Facade nya lang yung nature nya yun pero di lang talaga nya ma-kontrol.

So Makiling taught him gardening. Tree planting next date nila. It made him gentler hahahaha

Learning experience palagi yung date nila. Makiling, through planting, taught Habagat patience and courtesy. Habagat, with his chaotic nature, told Makiling it's okay to let loose sometimes.

Favorite nilang food: mango graham cake.

Sa four horsemen, Lupig met Payapa during the next big war (pero sooo far in the future pa yun). Si Payapa yung pinakakalmadong goddess.

Salot met Sakuna along the way, pareho sila ng trip: ang manira ng nature hahaha

Somewhere in the future, Pangarap got stressed a lot. He unintentionally created another god. A goddess named Bangungot. Si Bangungot yung literal na stress-personified.

Bangungot used to just exist in bouts and bursts of stressful times. Then she was willed to life.

Kidlat and Diwata had the most destructive relationship. Not because they're so bad for each other. Si Kidlat kasi yung sobrang transparent ng emotions so every time Diwata does something na nagpapakilig sa kanya, he becomes destructive. Di sinasadya haha

Lastly, Panawon and Tadhana have a special relationship.

Tadhana was given the power to create so that she would write stories about everything and when Panawon wakes up again, he would read them all before he sleeps.

Literal na bedtime stories yung sinusulat ni Tadhana.

Tadhana is the only god (lesser than Panawon and Delubyo) who remembers everything. That's why she has so many stories.

She's the writer and she writes for Panawon only. Their relationship isn't necessarily romantic. It's beyond romance or love. It's devotion.

Some notes:

Delubyo is alone and will always be alone but he's not lonely. That's just his nature. He just co-exists with Panawon and the lesser gods at a time but he cannot feel love like the others do. It may be sad for us, but not for him.

Don't worry, he's fine.
