the summary version: close Union lane to motor traffic at both ends and put in a bus gate at the High Street/Water Lane/Green End Road junction, with Water Lane/fen Road access from Green End Road. Close off Ferry lane/High Street and open up Water Streer-Water Street
also close off Chapel Street at High Street and run a parallel zebra at a slight angle from Union Lane into Chapel Street
