I used to go for walks with a chronically ill friend who had to sometimes lie down. I kept a map of routes that had benches and lawns close enough together. Without resting every few minutes, he would've been stuck at home.

... To stop people from asking questions or tell him that you couldn't lie there. To make it look like a fun situation to the passers by.
I would take out a book or something, chat, to make it look more casual. Because some people suck. Some people just have a deeply set need to deny people who HAVE TO rest so they won't be in agony that right until they actually are in agony, unable to function.
Maybe keep that in mind before you yell at someone who stopped moving for a minute out there. Maybe consider that some of us know when they have to stop for a minute so we won't break down. Thanks.
