It’s fine to dislike Johnson - because he is a tosser. It’s fine to call him a liar - because he is a liar.

But to accuse him of having not been very ill, is to accuse medical staff of conspiring in some kind of dastardly plan. That’s an insult to them and their professionalism.

‘He spent 7 nights in hospital, including 3 nights in the intensive care unit.’
