I've been watching more and more movies as of late so I'm gonna make a thread on this post of the ones I've seen and continue it with new entries as I see em.

My opinions will be limited to a single tweet (maybe 2), so I cant get too in depth here.

Yeet.
Inception - 9/10

Loved the visuals and performance. The story wasn't nearly as convoluted as people make it out to be, but yes, it is complex.

I especially love the characters, notably Cobb, Fischer, and Arthur.

Overall, I think it's one of the best movies I've seen.
Interstellar - 10/10

The art, score, performances, and story were just simply phenomenal. It held such a range of emotions and intrigue that I cant help but be so infatuated with it.

It may not be the perfect movie to others, but to me, it's there.

This movie is a masterpiece.
Batman Begins - 5.5/10

I felt it to be rather boring and a slog to get through. Scarecrow kept my interest as an interesting Villian, but Ras just fell flat to me.

The movie really didn't keep me invested nor interested, but some aspects were enjoyable.

It was alright.
Dark Knight - 7.5/10

The movie was good, I enjoyed the dynamic of Batman and Joker (something seemingly impossible to ruin), but the overall movie wasn't really that enjoyable to me.

The cinematography, however, was great.
Dark Knight Rises - 7.5/10

Overall I enjoyed this movie more than I did with The Dark Knight. I loved the constant feeling of pressure that the movie held as it kept me interested.

Bane was good, but he doesn't stack up to the Joker.

Gordon is best boy.

Overall, pretty good.
John Wick 3 - 3.5/10

One of the most laughable action movies I've ever seen.

Weapon inaccuracies, awfully choreography, mediocre acting, and just downright awful story inconsistencies spit in the face of the previous two installments.

Good for a laugh. Watch John Wick 1.
Spider-Man: Far From Home - 8.5/10

People seem to have conflicting opinions about this movie, however, I find it to be one of the better movies Marvel has to offer.

Mysterio gets a lot of flak, but I actually find it to be genius.

Here's why:
Dunkirk - 8/10

I very much enjoyed Dunkirk. From the set pieces, performance, and score to the sense of desperation and ultimate euphoria, however, it's too unfocused IMHO. It has too many POV's, making it feel too scattered at even confusing at times.

Still an amazing watch.
Wolf of Wall Street - 8/10

I'm not too big on comedies but this one strung the right cords as it wasn't just a bunch of shitty jokes. The drama with each characters lives felt organic and each person felt believable.

The titties were nice too ig.

Great movie.
Full Metal Jacket - 8.5/10

First half: Amazing, Second Half: Great.

Though the first part is widely heralded as being phenomenal, the second apparently gets flak for being too empty. That's understandable, but I still think it was great and held up, especially with the ending.
Venom - 7.5/10

I enjoyed Venom, but theres sadly not much to say about this film as it didn't do much. Eddie and Venoms interactions were the best part, but I felt they were held back for whatever reason.

Overall. The movie was good and It was fun.
