Men are NOT greater/better than women, in Islam.

Thread
I begin by the name of Allah the beneficent the merciful.
Allah says in (49:13): “O you mankind, we have indeed created you from male and female and made you nations and tribes so you can know one another, indeed the most noble of u in the sight of Allah is the most righteous..,
In line with this Verse, Allah made equal the reward of women and men for all actions. Without the influence of gender, race, physical appearance or any other thing. What needs to be addressed is not who is superior or inferior, the whole point of dunya is for you to live on
the path Islam chose for you. Punishment does not differ as well, we all are servants, and the purpose of creation is to serve and worship Allah.

The verse in Suratun Nisa which is often misunderstood and misinterpreted by some muslim men thinking it favors them and makes...
them superior, actually does saddle them with responsibilities more than the powers and the authority. The Word Qawamah/Qawwamuna used by Allah SWT in the verse can be interpreted as “PROVIDERS, PROTECTORS, GUARDIANS & LEADERS”
As mentioned above, the verse teaches more of responsibility that’s on a man towards a woman, which is nothing to brag about but incline towards making sure you as a man fulfill those responsibilities.

Contrary to the popular perception of many including some muslims,
Islam respects and honors women dearly. Thoughts as such; enforcing, or deviating from the whole idea of masculinity is another reason why we confuse ourselves from the whole concept of the religion which preaches love and peace. Our demeanor towards a woman in the following..
categories as our beloved prophet SAW said in some hadith.

Woman as daughter, for any parent that raises at least 2 they’ll be a shield and protection for him against the hellfire (Hadith)

As mother, the Rasool SAW instructed a man to honor and care for his mother 3 rounds...
then he mentioned father once (Hadith).

As a wife, catering for her is one of the most noble deeds a muslim man can do, act of charity (Hadith).

See, Islam has pampered women to the extent that if she were the world’s richest woman,
she’s still to be looked after either by her father, husband or son, and it’s a must not a privilege, rather more of responsibility.

Scholars mention this as one of the reasons why in SOME situations she gets half of man’s share when it comes to inheritance. She’ll take hers..
and still be taken care of by a man.

Naturally women are weak, that’s why even the westerners have separate sports for women. Leadership requires the ability to stand stress and face risks which is likely to be carried out successfully and dispassionately by a man.
Women are our mothers, sisters, wives and daughters. We love them and respect them as muslims. We also do no feel we’re better or superior, we are out there for them and will do all it takes to ensure their wellbeing.
ALLAH KNOWS BEST!!
